I really love their burgers! However, with the fish you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes it's edible, other times not so much. But the biggest problem by far is the fact that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH!! Are you kidding me?!?! It's 2015!!! Come out of the dark ages already! The owner need to bit the bullet and show his customers that he cares about them and their time and money! My family would eat their a lot more often.

Tough review to write because there are some really great qualities of this nice little seafood/burger joint but also some glaring issues. The chowder is amazing! If nothing else make sure to order some and try it. The burgers aren't really anything special, but satisfying if you want a decent burger. The fish and chips are usually pretty good, but the quality can vary greatly so it tough to know what you're going to get. Pricing isn't bad for most of the menu, fish and chips are a little overpriced but expected. One big issue is they are a CASH ONLY place. They're very upfront about this if you call an order in, but this is quite the inconvenience when considering getting food here. Maybe if they accepted debit cards to bring in extra business the prices on the fish would come down a little.

Had the combo and chips, it has fish, prawns, clams, oysters and comes with clam chowder, cole slaw and fries! Eveerything was fried perfectly and the clam chowder was awesome! And only $10!! I would've given 5 stars but they sell cigarettes and stuff out of the kitchen... kinda strange for me but I'd definitely go back! !

Best clam chowder. As a Post Falls native, I may be a little biased, but nothing compares. This is what I want my chowder to taste like. However, I normally get the three piece fish and chips, as it comes with the chowder. I dont know if its the oil they're fried in, the quality of the fish, or the people cooking, but I haven't been able to finish my fish in months due to various bad tastes. Yeah. Various. Once it was waaayyy too fishy, once it tasted like a cube of butter, and once it was so dry that I could hardly taste it. I hear the burgers are great, but thats not what I go to Robs for.

Solid Drive-in type burger and some good quality fish and chips. If you can look past the fact it's a cigarette outlet and their inventory is everywhere then it's not a bad place and I'd definitley would come back.

I've lived here in Post Falls for 6 years and never visited Rob's Seafood & Burgers because of all the cigarette advertising all over the joint but finally I had a buy one and get one coupon that a friend had given me after recommending the fish (a non-sea food eater but liked Rob's fish) well the fish and fries looked fine but the cod had little flavor and the coating was similar to sawdust....just horrible, I barely got through one piece of the fish and took the rest home to my cat who even turned her head up at it. To non- seafood eating people Rob's burgers and cigarettes may be fine but I won't recommend the place to anyone.

What a fun, quirky place!! So my dad and I were driving by and I saw Rob's on the corner. Their sign said appealing things like Seafood and Clams. It also said Cigarettes. Wait, what?! We needed to at least investigate, so we turned around and parked in their little lot. We went in and found half seafood restaurant and half like convenience store cigarette counter. It wasn't smoky inside, which was something that concerned me. We went up to the window and placed our order for clam chowder, a fish sandwich and a fried clams meal. We returned to our hotel and ate there because, frankly, the booths were just uncomfortably small. Trying to maneuver here in a wheelchair, I imagine, would be a nightmare. Aesthetics and accessibility aside (ooh, lots of A words!), the food was inexpensive and spectacular. I love fried clams and they were the best I've ever had. (Take that, Howard Johnson's!) So do what we did... raise your eyebrow at the odd combination of restaurant and smokes store, and then go in and enjoy the heck out of it! It was delicious!

I've been eating the fish and chips at Rob's for the last 20 years. Is it the greatest batch of fish you will lay your greasy little fingers on? Absolutely not. But it's cooked to order, the fries are crisp, and the fry sauce is to die for. If you're looking for a quick dive style bite to eat, this is the place to go. The burgers aren't bad either!

First time... and i have to say when i asked how many shrimp came in the prawns & chips she said 5. Wow talk about big shrimp. I ordered apiece of fish too. Unable to finish. Food was good portions are good price is fair and the chowder is the bomb. Gotta try it. Definitely will be back
